We all have them. You know, the books we buy that end up just sitting on a shelf, unread. Some of these books are books you just HAD TO HAVE at some point. Some of them may be books that were given to you. Others perhaps are books you thought sounded interesting at a mass used book sale, and they helped fill up your “bag of books”. No matter how you first acquired them, they’ve been sitting on your shelf since, “collecting dust” as we might say.
I too, have lost and/or forgotten books. Knowing that I may not want to keep some of these books once I read them, I have decided to make it my mission to read at least one of these books each month.
April’s selection was Rosebush by Michele Jaffe, as picked by myself last month. I thankfully enjoyed this book a bit more than March’s selection, Out of the Blue, and you’ll be seeing my review later this week.
This month I was being indecisive and decided to let you guys pick which book I would read. DRUMROLL PLEASE….
You guys picked Dragon’s Keep!! Thank you to everyone who voted! Truth be told, after I put the poll up last week, I was kind of leaning towards this one myself, as I was craving some fantasy. It was a lot of fun having you guys pick the book for me though, I might have to do that from time to time in the future. So, May’s Lost or Forgotten selection is Dragon’s Keep by Janet Lee Carey!
I hereby challenge YOU to pick a lost or forgotten book from your shelves and set out to read it this month.
Write a post about it and link back, telling us what book you chose, how you chose it, and why!!
Some women collect shoes, others collect purses. I collect books.
