Library Spring Book Sale BOOK HAUL!!!

You guys, I broke two of my own rules yesterday.  My local library had their semi-annual book sale, so OF COURSE I had to check it out.  I usually only find one or two books at library sales, so I figured that while I’d be breaking my book buying ban, it wouldn’t be much.  Well…..

Book Haul

The Catcher in the Rye, The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass, On The Road, Inkheart, Inkspell, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter, The Magicians, Bossypants, Attachments, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Same Kind of Different As Me, Misery, and Dreamcatcher.

I ended up SCORING on a TON of great books.  15 to be exact, which means I definitely broke my book buying ban.  I don’t think I’ve ever done so well at a library sale!!  Two of them were Stephen King books that I used to own but have since gone missing (pretty sure my mom sold them at a yard sale).  The rest were all books on my wishlist, which has been a rule I’ve tried really, really hard to stick to when perusing books.  So at least I didn’t break THAT rule.  However, my TBR shelf is now overflowing, which means I’ve got a lot of reading from my own shelves to do in the next couple of months.

Even as I write this I am still SUPER excited, especially about the Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Magicians, and Attachments finds!

Have you scored any good books and/or sweet deals lately??

Nice Haul! Those darn library sales…at least it was for a great cause and I’m sure your library appreciated your support!

That’s a good mix of books. I’ve never read ON THE ROAD; I’ll be curious about your follow-up review.

You got Catcher in the Rye in hardback! Not bad at all!! 🙂
And I note there’s another classic: On the Road!

I'd love to know what you think!
