Quotable Friday {3} – Spring, Where are you?

Last weekend was such a tease.  I got the chance to do my 10 mile long run in the sunshine, with temps reaching the 40’s.  It. Was. Glorious.  Unfortunately it didn’t last long.  This morning temperatures were in the negatives here in PA, and when you added in the wind chill, it was even worse.  As I look at the weather forecast, Titan is definitely going to be hitting us this weekend, and I have found myself really longing for spring.  I’ve even decided to pack away all my snowflake decorations around the house and get out my spring stuff this weekend.  So with that, I bring you a nice spring-related quote from a favorite childhood book.

“Is the spring coming?” he said.  “What is it like?”… “It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine,
and things pushing up and working under the earth,” said Mary.

I fully concur. Last weekend was wonderful, and now this 😦
When I think of spring, I think of Wind in the Willows for some reason

I have an early March birthday, and I can’t remember the last time it was THIS cold for my birthday. If it wasn’t for the robins chirping in the mornings, I’d be convinced that Spring is never coming!!

I'd love to know what you think!
